DHAKA: Bangladesh scored 162 runs with loss of six wickets in their second innings on the fourth day of the first test match in Mirpur.

The host trail by 336 runs from the hefty 498-run lead that Sri Lanka accumulated over the last two days.

Sohag Gazi and Nasir Hossain are on the crease with 16 and 13 respectively.

Lankan bowler MDK Perera bagged three tickets while Lakmal, Eranga and Herath got one wicket each

On Wednesday, the visiting Sri Lanka declared after piling on a whopping 730 for 6, after Mahela Jayawardene reached his seventh double-century and Kithuruwan Vithanage scored his maiden century in only his second Test.

Shakib Al Hasan begged three wickets and Sohag Gazi took two wickets while Al-Amin Hossain picked-up one wicket.
