Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first in the third and final ODI aiming to clinch the series against Afghanistan today (Nov 11).
The decision to bat came after Afghanistan's strong performance in the previous games, where their spinners, particularly Allah Ghazanfar, had delivered impressive figures to dismantle Bangladesh's batting lineup.
In their first match on Nov 6, Bangladesh had started well, but a dramatic collapse led to their defeat by 92 runs.
Bangladesh however, beat the host in the second match by 68 runs to level the series on November 9.
