ICC proposal won’t pass: Kamal

DHAKA: International Cricket Council Vice-president AHM Mustafa Kamal said the controversial draft position paper proposing two-tier test will be rejected in the upcoming ICC board meeting.

He made the disclosure while talking to journalist at Shahjalal International Airport Sunday when he left to his departure for the ICC Headquarters in Dubai.

The key aspect in the draft included the formation of a four-member Executive Committee where India, Australia and England will have permanent representation and they can drop any country from their test status.

If the draft passed, it would be a death knell for Bangladesh, who currently at the bottom of the 10-team test rankings.
