DHAKA: Sri Lanka scored 139 runs with loss of one wicket after resuming their first innings trailing by 172 runs on Tuesday, the second day of first test match in Mirpur.
Lankan batsman Dimuth Karunaratne scored 44 runs before back to the pavilion.
Kaushal Silva are on the crease with 40 runs and Kumar Sangakkara 11 runs respectively.
Shakib Al Hasan begged the only wicket of Lankan side.
Earlier on Monday, Bangladesh scored 232 runs in their first innings.
Captain Mushfiqur Rahim took the highest 61 runs while Shakib Al Hasan, Sohag Gazi and Shamsur Rahman scored 55, 42 and 33 runs respectively.
Sri Lankan pacer Suranga Lakmal bagged four wickets while Shaminda Eranga got three wickets. Left arm spinner Herath picked up two wickets and captain Matthews bagged one wicket.
