DHAKA: Sri Lanka scored 209 runs with loss of one wicket in 65 overs on Tuesday, the second day of first test match in Mirpur.

Kaushal Silva are on the crease with 98 runs and Kumar Sangakkara 44 runs respectively.

Lankan batsman Dimuth Karunaratne scored 44     runs before back to the pavilion.

Shakib Al Hasan begged the only wicket of Lankan side.

Earlier in the morning, the visitors resumed their first innings trailing by 172 runs.
    
On Monday, Bangladesh scored 232 runs in their first innings.

Captain Mushfiqur Rahim took the highest 61 runs while Shakib Al Hasan, Sohag Gazi and Shamsur Rahman scored 55, 42 and 33 runs respectively.

Sri Lankan pacer Suranga Lakmal bagged four wickets while Shaminda Eranga got three wickets. Left arm spinner Herath picked up two wickets and captain Matthews bagged one wicket.
