Shubman Gill led the Indian batting effort with a composed 90, showcasing solid technique and shot selection. His innings was complemented by a brisk 60 from Rishabh Pant, who provided a much-needed surge in momentum with aggressive stroke play.

New Zealand's Ajaz Patel emerged as a standout performer, taking 5-103, his third five-wicket haul of the series. Patel’s spin bowling consistently troubled the Indian lineup, underlining his crucial role for the Black Caps in a match where spinners have been pivotal. 

With India holding a slim lead, the match is delicately poised as both teams look to gain an upper hand on a pitch that offers significant turn and bounce.
