Bangladesh suffered their second defeat in the Baseball United Arab Classic Championship as the host United Arab Emirates (UAE) thrashed them by 9-2 points in their third group match held in Dubai on Saturday.

According to a press release, Bangladesh initially put up a strong fight but struggled to maintain their momentum as the game progressed.

To advance to the next round, Bangladesh must secure a victory against India in their final group match.
 
Pakistan and the UAE are in a comfortable position with two wins while Bangladesh and India have secured one win in the tournament.

Earlier, Bangladesh suffered a 10-0 defeat against Pakistan in their opening group match but they bounced back to register 12-0 over Afghanistan in their second group match.
