Dhaka: The biggest event of the shorter version cricket - ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2014 begins Sunday.
A total of 16 teams are set to participate in the tournament.
Eight countries splitting in two groups will fight for qualifying to top ten while eight other teams will directly play in the top ten round of the tournament.
Hosts Bangladesh is set to face Afghans in the first qualifying match at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur of the city on the afternoon at 3:30pm.
The tournament will end on April 6.
