Afghans chasing 142-run target

DHAKA:  Afghanistan are now chasing Nepal-set 142-run target to win the ninth match of Group A in the ICC World T20.      
   
Earlier, Afghanistan won the toss and elected to field at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.                

Nepal lost 5 wickets to score 141 runs in 20-over.           

SP Khakurel scored 56 runs from 53 balls and S Vesawkar bagged 37 runs from 32 balls.                                 

Afghanistan bowler Shapoor Zadran bagged 2 wickets while Dawlat Zadran and Mirwais Ashraf got one wicket each.                                        

Both teams will look for a second win in the first round of the tournament and both succumbed to losses against Bangladesh.

Winner of the match will possibly be qualified for the next round in case host Bangladesh is defeated by debutant Hong Kong at the same venue in the evening.
