DHAKA: Sri Lanka beat India by 22 runs in the fourth match of Women’s World T20 at Sylhet Stadium on Monday.
India lost nine wickets to score 109 runs in 20-over in reply to 129-run target set by Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka’s KDU Prabodhani who picked up two wickets got player of the match award.
Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first. They lost eight wickets to score 128 runs.
AC Jayangani took 43 runs while LE Kaushalya scored 34 runs.
Poonam Yadav bagged two wickets.
