DHAKA: Kings XI Punjab beat Chennai Super Kings by six wickets in the an Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium here Friday.
Kings XI achieved the target of 206 runs losing four wickets and with seven balls to spare after Glenn Maxwell struck a magnificent 43-ball 95 - 15 fours and two sixes - and skipper George Bailey made an unbeaten 54 off 37 balls.
Earlier, Chennai Super Kings made a mammoth 205 for four in 20 overs. Openers Dwayne Smith struck a 43-ball 66 and Brendan McCullum hit 67 off 45 balls. Suresh Raina also made 24 while skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni made a 11-ball 26.
