CHITTAGONG: The money of Chittagong Divisional Krira Sangstha has gone to personal account of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Director Akran Khan violating existing rules of money transaction.
As per the rules, the money of tournament organizing from BCB is supposed to deposit to Divisional Krira Sangstha’s account. The rest six divisions except Chittagong got the money through their respective accounts.
This unnatural cash disbursement has created much criticism among the Chittagong Cricket arena. Most the officials of Chittagong Divisional Krira Sangstha mull that it is the sheer and big corruption so far.
Many of them raised allegation against Akram Khan’s the Bangladeshi Cricket legend, that he is practicing autocracy in the Chittagong Cricket.
It is for the first time that BCB’s money goes to one’s personal bank account and it will raise question and objection in the next audit report, say some officials of the port city krira sangstha.
Chittagong Divisional Krira Sangstha and Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Abdullah said he hasn’t informed about this.
“Actions will be taken in this regard after scrutinizing the matter,” he added.
When contacted over mobile phone, Akram Khan was not available for his comments in this matter.
