DHAKA: A group of Bangladeshi former cricketers are now visiting Canada.
They reached Montreal Saturday on an invitation of former cricketer Halim Shah.
Among the former cricket stars are BCB’s chief selector Faruk Ahmed and selector Habibul Bashar Sumon.
The formers, who went to Canada for a two-week visit, also included Athar Ali Khan and Naimur Rahman Durjoy.
They will visit three Canadian cities and attend some programmes, including receptions to be accorded to them.
Halim Shah and Farhad Tito, a pioneer of modern sports journalism in Bangladesh, received them at Montreal Airport.
