DHAKA: Manchester City won a second Premier League title in three years as goals from Samir Nasri and captain Vincent Kompany secured victory over West Ham.
The Sky Blues, needing a draw to guarantee being English champions for the fourth time, dominated before Nasri fired in off the post from 20 yards.
David Silva hit the bar before half-time, but Kompany prodded in from six yards to seal a fifth win in a row.
City finished two points ahead of Liverpool, who beat Newcastle 2-1.
The Reds' victory was academic as City eased past Sam Allardyce's side, reaching 102 league goals for the season, one shy of Chelsea's record in 2009-10.
Manuel Pellegrini's side had chances to overhaul the mark, but Adrian's save from Nasri's volley late on, coupled with a Sergio Aguero miss from inside the six-yard box, kept the score at 2-0.
