DHAKA: Heath Hilton Streak, the newly appointed bowling coach of Bangladesh cricket team, pledged to make the team far better terming it a “challenge”.
He came up with disclosure while meeting journalists at BCB office at 2:00pm Tuesday.
Mentioning ‘there are good spinners in the team’ he said that now Tigers need some good fast bowlers.
“I shall work to make them world standard,” Heath Streak told there.
The former fast blower and captain of Zimbabwe cricket team will start coaching from Wednesday.
Sources said that Heath Streak will work for two years and will also be a consultant for the other teams under the BCB.
Streak had been Zimbabwe's bowling coach between 2009 and 2013. He played six of his 65 Tests as well as 10 ODIs against Bangladesh, apart from a season of domestic cricket in the country in the 1990s.
