DHAKA: Bangladeshi opener Tamim Iqbal has joined the 4000-run club as the second Bangladeshi after all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan.
He touched the milestone in Pool A match of World Cup against Scotland Thursday.
Tamim made his One Day International debut in 2007 and played his first Test the following year. He is left-handed opening batsman.
