DHAKA: Pakistan are facing Bangladesh bowlers in the last game of the three-match One Day International (ODI) series at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur in city on Wednesday.
Pakistan have scored 28 for no loss in 4.2 over till filling of this report.
Azhar Ali began Pakistan’s innings with Sami Aslam on the other end of the crease while Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza bowled the first over.
Ali and Aslam are batting now with 11 and 15 runs respectively.
Earlier, Pakistan captain won the toss and opted to bat first. The match kicked off at 2:30pm.
Bangladesh were unchanged. Pakistan made three changes total, bringing in Uamar Gul, Zulfiqar Babar and Sami Aslam and leaving out Rahat Ali, Sarfraz Ahmed and Saeed Ajmal.
With Wednesday’s match, allrounder Shakib Al Hasan touched a millstone, becoming the fourth Bangladesh cricketer to play 150 ODIs after Mashrafe Mortaza, Mohammad Ashraful and Habibul Bashar.
Pakistan’s Sami Aslam made his international debut today. Gul, who missed the World Cup with a bruised tendon in his left ankle, is playing his first ODI since December.
