DHAKA: Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first in the only Twenty20 (T20) international against a confident Bangladesh who have just whitewashed the visitors in three-match ODI series.
The match will kick off at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in city’s Mirpur at 6:30pm on Friday.
Two players from both sides are making their debut in T20 international. Mustafizur Rahman and Soumya Sarkar are for Bangladesh while Mohammad Rizwan and Mukhtar Ahmed are for Pakistan.
Pakistan are among most successful in T20 matches. Pakistan won 50 out of 85 T20s, while Bangladesh only have 11 wins in 41 games.
But, Pakistan are at bottom of their confidence as their tour against the Tigers is still at zero.
