DHAKA: India are on the way to build a good target for Bangladesh in the last and final match of three match series at Sher-e-bangla Stadium on Wednesday.
India scored 200 for three in 35.2 overs till the filling of this report.
Like previous two matches, Mustafizur Rahman hit first in India. Mustafizur had opener Rohit Sharma (29 off 29 balls) caught behind by Liton Das in the last balls of the inning’s seventh over.
Tiger skipper Mashrafe Mortaza joined the attack. He had Shikhar Dhawan caught by Nasir Hossain in a slow-paced ball. Meantim, Shikhar hit his 14th One Day International half century, scoring 73 off 73 balls.
All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan bowled Virat Kohli (25 off 35 balls).
MS Dhoni and Ambati Rayudu were not out with 40 and 22 runs respectively.
Earlier, Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and sent India to bat first. The match began at 3:00pm local time.
Bangladesh have added the legspinner Jubair Hossain to their squad for the third ODI. ""He was taken to increase the bowling options," Faruque Ahmed, the chief selector, told ESPNcricinfo. "We will have a look at the wicket tomorrow and take a call on him."
Ravindra Jadeja and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been left out, brining in STR Binny and Umesh Yadav.
