DHAKA: Once more time, Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan became the top all-rounder in all formats of cricket.
He achieved the top spot in Test, ODI (One Day International) and Twenty20 formats at the same time, according to International Cricket Council (ICC) latest rankings.
The 28-year-old Shakib earned 381 points in the Reliance ICC Test Championship All-Rounder Rankings’ list, followed by VD Philander of South Africa with 376 points and R Ashwin of India with 336 points.
The left-hand batsman achieved 408 points in the Reliance ICC ODI Championship All-Rounder Rankings’ list while Pakistan’s Tillekeratne Dilshan got 404 points, followed by Sri Lanka’s AD Mathews with 378 points.
The Bangladeshi ace is also leading the Reliance ICC Twenty20 Championship All-Rounder Rankings’ list with 408 points, followed by Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez with 340 points and Shahid Afridi with 319 points.
Earlier in January this year, Shakib took himself into the cricket history becoming the top all-rounder in all formats of cricket for the first time ever.
