Proteas lead ODI series by 1-0

DHAKA: Du Plessis 63 and Rossouw 45 runs helped South Africa to beat Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the first One Day International match at Mirpur Friday.
 
Chasing a 161-run target, Proteas made 164 runs in 31.1 overs losing only two wickets to lead the three-match ODI series by 1-0 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
 
Earlier, after winning the toss and deciding to bat first, the tigers scored 160-run losing all wickets after 36.3-over.
 
Shakib Al Hasan was the top scorer with 48-run while Nasir Hossain, Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur Rahim amassed 31, 27 and 24 runs respectively.
 
Debutant Proteas pacer Kagiso Rabada bagged six wickets with a hat-trick.
