DHAKA: World’s top allrounder Shakib-Al-Hasan became the second Bangladeshi bowler to claim 200 wickets in One Day International (ODI) cricket when he dismissed Hashim Amla in the third match against South Africa in Chittagong on Wednesday.
The series decider day-night match of the three-match series- will be held at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
He bagged two required wickets -- F du Plessis and Hashim Amla— to touch the milestone in his 156th ODI match.
Earlier, the Left-arm spinner played 155 matches to take 198 wickets
Tiger captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza also has an opportunity to touch the milestone as he had already grabbed 199 wickets in 156 matches and need only one wicket.
