DHAKA: Bangladesh A won the second one-dayer against India A by 65 runs, leveling the unofficial three-match series 1-1 in Bengaluru of India on Friday.
At the end of 27 overs India A were cruising at 118 for one requiring 133 off 148 deliveries for victory at that stage. Then Nasir Hossain and Rubel Hossain started strike on the Indian batsmen.
Nasir Hossain bagged five wickets while Rubel Hossain picked four wickets as well.
Earlier, Tigers scored 252 runs for eight wickets in 50 overs in the second ODI at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Nasir’s unbeaten on 102 off 96 balls, which include 12 fours and a six, helped Bangladesh A to set a target of 253 runs for India A.
He was well supported by Liton Das who scored 45 runs.
For India A Rishi Dhawan picked three wickets while Karn Sharma scalped two wickets. Rush Kalaria and Suresh Raina chipped in with a wicket each.
After losing the wicket of Rony Talukdar Bangladesh have recovered well and the partnership between Soumya Sarkar and Anamul Haque has gone past fifty runs.
Unmukt Chand has used the services of Rush Kalaria, Sreenath Aravind and Rishi Dhawan.
Earlier, India A captain Unmukt Chand has won the toss and invited Bangladesh A to bat first.
India A won the opening-match convincingly by 96 runs. The visitors now leveled the series 1-1.
