DHAKA: Trading in the country’s two bourses showing positive in share-price indices on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 41.18 points or 0.90 percent than Sunday to stand at 4601.60 at 12.17pm.

Trade deals stood at 51314 with transaction at Tk 2466.76 million.

Of the issues traded, 191 advanced, 61 declined and 45 remained unchanged.

BXPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 231.91 million having changed hands during the time.

Other toppers in the market were SQUAREPHARMA, CITYBANK, ALLTEX and UPGDCL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8585.99 by gaining over 54.61 points than the previous day.

Out of the issues traded, 120 gained, 44 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
