DHAKA: Trading in the two bourses of the country showing negative trends in its price indices at the opening hour on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

DSEX, the chief index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, lost over 3.39 points or 0.07 percent to stand at 4557.37 at 10:45am.

Trade deals stood at 4826 with volume of transactions at Tk178.39 million.

Of the issues traded, 55 advanced, 68 declined and 35 remained unchanged.

CITYBANK topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk66.68 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were CVOPRL, FUWANGCER, BSC, ITC, BXPHARMA, BDCOM, EMERALDOIL, UPGDCL and SPCL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8525.82 by dropping over 10.20 points.

Out of the issues traded, 15 gained, 27 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
