DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Sunday.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 10.95 points or 0.23 per cent to 4591.51 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:37am.
Trade deals stood at 27109 with volume of transactions at Tk 1332.77 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 123 advanced, 100 declined and 61 remained unchanged.
BSRMLTD was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 210.65 million changing hands till then followed by BXPHARMA, SQURPHARMA, GEMINISEA and UPGDCL.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index gaining 26.62 points to 8625.71, also at 11:34am.
Of the issues traded till then, 52 gained, 68 declined and 34 remained unchanged.
