DSE, CSE down at opening

DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) –is underway with downward trend of share-price indices in early hours of trading on Sunday.
   
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, shed over 1.28 points or 0.02 per cent to 4566.28 in the first one-hour of trade at 11:20am.

Trade deals stood at 21290 with volume of transactions at Tk 916.48 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 98 advanced, 96 declined and 58 remained unchanged.

ONEBANKLTD was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 88.13 million changing hands till then followed by SINGERBD, BSRMLTD, LANKABAFIN and CMCKAMAL.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed downward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index dropping 11.85 points to 8554.47, also at 11:20am.

Of the issues traded till then, 49 gained, 59 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
