DHAKA: The three-day 24th US Trade Show is set to be kicked off in a city hotel from March 3 (Thursday) with the view to strengthen economic ties between the US and Bangladesh.
US embassy to Bangladesh and America Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh will jointly organize the trade show at Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel.
The event will see over 100 booths of US businesses, showcasing US products and services available in Bangladesh.
It was expected that more than 10,000 participants will receive services in the trade show.
US ambassador Marcia Bernicat said, “The US Trade Show highlights the great American products available in Bangladesh and the strong partnership between US and Bangladeshi businesses”.
“We are delighted that bilateral trade in goods reached nearly $7 billion in 2015 and believe this event will help increase our trade,” she added.
