DSE, CSE up at opening

DSE, CSE up at opening

DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Monday.
   
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 8.24 points or 0.18 per cent to 4443.71 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:34am.

Trade deals stood at 17456 with volume of transactions at Tk 687.29 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 135 advanced, 49 declined and 70 remained unchanged.

BSRMLTD was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 85.52 million changing hands till then followed by QSMDRYCELL, ORIONPHARM, MALEKSPIN and CMCKAMAL.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index gaining 5.53 points to 8326.15, also at 11:34am.

Of the issues traded till then, 70 gained, 39 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
