DHAKA: Share price indices at the country main bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Wednesday (March 9).
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 6.93 points or 0.15 per cent to 4460.82 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:56am.
Trade deals stood at 30053 with volume of transactions at Tk 1120.57 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 141 advanced, 80 declined and 61 remained unchanged.
SINOBANGLA was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 103.58 million changing hands till then followed by LANKABAFIN, CMCKAMAL, IFADAUTOS and PREMIERCEM.
Besides, the port city bourse –– also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index gaining 13 points to Tk 4.05 crore at the end of first one hour.
Of the issues traded Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) at till then, 71 gained, 49 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
