DHAKA: After successful operation in the domestic region, US-Bangla Airlines has declared Kathmandu to be its first international destination in Nepal.
US-Bangla operates flights to highest number of destinations and carried the highest number of passengers within Bangladesh.
Bangladesh government granted them with the permission to operate international flights considering its successful operation.
From its inception, it earned a solid reputation on dependence and received acceptance from the passengers for its on-time departure, which is about 98.7% and operated over 1000 successful flights. Backed up with the sincere efforts, US-Bangla Airlines is crossing the borders of this country and will be flying to Dhaka-Kathmandu route on 15 May 2016.
Initially it will be operating to Kathmandu three days a week-- Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday-- at 3:00 pm from Dhaka and will arrive at Kathmandu at 4:30 pm (local time). It will fly from Kathmandu at 5:10 pm and will again reach Dhaka at 7:10 pm.
Fare for Dhaka-Kathmandu roundtrip shall start from BDT 17,622 and oneway trip for BDT 10,580 has been fixed which includes all taxes and surcharges.
It will be operating to Dhaka-Kathmandu with Bombardier, Canadian manufactured, 76 seated Dash 8 Q-400 series new generation aircrafts.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh government has already granted US-Bangla with the permission to operate in Kathmandu, Paro, Kuala Lumpur, Doha, Bangkok, Singapore, Dammam and Kolkata.
Currently US-Bangla Airlines is operational in Dhaka, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Jessore, Saidpur, Rajshahi and Barisal.
