DHAKA: The two bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- of the country are witnessing negative trends in share price indices on Wednesday (April 6), the fourth trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 3.76 points or 0.08 percent to stand at 4405.95 points at 11:26am.
Trade deals stood at 40,003 with transaction at over Tk 1006.87 million. Of the issues traded, 69 advanced, 127 declined and 51 remained unchanged.
Doreen Power Generations And Systems Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 161.33 million having changed hands till the time.
Other toppers of the market were BSRM Limited, Keya Cosmetics, The Ibn Sina Pharmaceuticals, Baraka Power Limited, Aman Feed Limited, IT Consultants Limited, Summit Alliance Port Limited, Titas Gas Transmission & Dist. Co. Ltd., and Lankabangla Finance Ltd.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the trend, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 24.19 points to stand at 8229.44 points.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 33 gained, 49 declined and 16 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 121.44 million.
