FY17 budget to be placed on June 2

DHAKA: Budget for 2016-17 fiscal year would be placed at national parliament on June 2.

Finance minister AMA Muhith made the disclosure on Thursday (April 7) in a meeting with business leaders in the capital.

The volume of this budget will be Tk 340,000-crore, he added.
