DHAKA: After two days of negative trends, the two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing inflation of share price indices at the opening hours on Tuesday (April 12), the third trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 15.79 points or 0.35 percent to stand at 4417.57 points at 12:20pm.
Trade deals stood at 46,397 with transaction at over Tk 1657.16 million. Of the issues traded, 165 advanced, 62 declined and 66 remained unchanged.
Keya Cosmetics topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 113.63 million having changed hands on the day.
Other toppers of the market till the time were Doreen Power Generations and Systems Limited, Baraka Power Limited, Aman Feed Limited, LankaBangla Finance Limited, The Ibn Sina Pharmaceuticals, BSRM Limited, Meghna Petroleum Limited, BSRM Steels Limited and Titas Gas Transmission & Dist. Co. Ltd.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the trend, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, acquired over 27.70 points to stand at 8259.63 points at 12:19pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 87 gained, 54 declined and 39 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 97.84 million till then.
