DHAKA: Crime Investigation Department (CID) said that 20 foreigners were identified in relation with Bangladesh Bank reserve heist.
Additional deputy inspector general (DIG) of the sect Shah Alam made this disclosure at a press briefing in CID office in city on Monday (April 18).
He said that Philippine and Sri Lanka are the part of investigations and they found 20 foreigners were involved in Bangladesh Bank reserve heist.
The CID top official further said that Bangladeshis might be involved in reserve heist.
However, the investigators are trying to find out whether the money was stolen for unawareness of hacking or someone was involved in this heist, he added.
