BPC signs agreement with India’s EIL

CHITTAGONG: Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) signed an agreement with Engineers India Ltd (EIL) to appoint the latter as consultant to Eastern Refinery Unit-2 of Bangladesh.

BPC director for operations and planning Mosleh Uddin and EIL executive director (marketing) Upendra Maheshwari signed the Tk 110-crore agreement on behalf of the respective parties in Chittagong on Tuesday (April 19).

 

Bangladesh’s state minister for power, energy and mineral resources Nasrul Hamid and India’s state minister for petroleum and natural gas Dharmendra Pradhan were present at the signing ceremony.

Besides, Abdul Latif, MP, and BPC and EIL high-ups also were present here.
