DHAKA: The week started seeing loss in the two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- in share price indices on Sunday (June 12).
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 9.58 points or 0.21 percent to stand at 4409.40 points at the end of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 91252 with transaction at over Tk 3319.79 million. Of the issues traded, 90 advanced, 169 declined and 57 remained unchanged.
The ACME Laboratories Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 376.95 million having changed hands on the day.
Other toppers of the market were Linde Bangladesh Limited, Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited, Shahjibazar Power Co. Ltd, Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd, Olympic Accessories Limited, Orion Infusion Ltd, Doreen Power Generations and Systems Limited, Aman Feed Limited and Islami Bank.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 11.28 points to stand at 8263.05 points on the day.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 63 gained, 123 declined and 40 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 222.00 million.
