DHAKA: After witnessing loss in share price indices for consecutive days, the two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing inflation at the opening hours on Tuesday (June 14).
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 8.60 points or 0.19 percent to stand at 4414.00 points at 12:41pm.
Trade deals stood at 55,091 with transaction at over Tk 2114.27 million. Of the issues traded, 130 advanced, 106 declined and 71 remained unchanged.
Quasem Drycells topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 147.67 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 27.79 points to stand at 8274.65 points till 12:38pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 82 gained, 73 declined and 42 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 139.63 million.
