DHAKA: Investors are witnessing fall in the benchmark indices of the country’s two bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – at the opening hours on Tuesday (June 21).
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 4.99 points and 0.11 percent to stand at 4364.01 at 12:57pm.
Trade deals stood at 49,371 with transaction at Tk 2094.70 million till then.
Of the issues traded, 115 advanced, 127 declined and 71 remained unchanged.
National Feed Mill Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 135.99 million having changed hands.
Chittagong stocks also followed the trend, as CSCX, the prime index, climbed down to 8169.84 by dropping over 7.93 points at 12:52pm.
Out of the issues traded, 86 gained, 90 declined and 44 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 113.27 million.
