DHAKA: Banks can keep their branches open on July 2, 3, 4 with own arrangement.
FBCCI president Matlub Ahmed made the remark after meeting Bangladesh Bank governor on Monday (June 27).
The government has declared a long nine-day holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest Muslim religious festival, starting from July.
The holidays will start from July 1 and will continue until July 9. The working day of July 4 has been made a holiday and instead July 16, a Saturday, will be a working day.
