DHAKA: The customs houses and stations will remain close for three days from July 7-9 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
National Revenue Board (NRB) senior member (customs Policy) M Farid Uddin issued an order in this regard on Monday (June 27).
According to the statement, the customs houses of Chittagong, Mongla, Benapole, Pangaon, Dhaka Bond Commissionerate and customs stations will remain close.
However, within the vacation the up-gradation work of ASYCUDA World will remain open two hours from 7:00pm on July 7.
The authorities further said if the Eid will be celebrated on July 6 and the office will be closed on the Eid day but it will remain open on July 7.
