DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing gain in share price indices on Thursday (July 14), the fifth and final trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 7.50 points or 0.16 percent to stand at 4545.58 points at 12:11pm.
Trade deals stood at 37,172 with transaction at over Tk 1525.01 million till then. Of the issues traded, 143 advanced, 103 declined and 61 remained unchanged.
The ACME Laboratories Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 209.46 million having changed hands till the time.
Meanwhile, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit witnessing inflation, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 8.20 points to stand at 8479.72 points at 12:06pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 81 gained, 66 declined and 41 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 87.25 million till the then.
