DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing loss in share price indices on Tuesday (July 19), the third trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 12.05 points or 0.26 percent to stand at 4559.75 points at 12:21pm.
Trade deals stood at 37,214 with transaction at over Tk 1884.42 million. Of the issues traded, 79 advanced, 160 declined and 62 remained unchanged.
The Olympic Industries topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 173.92 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 2.88 points to stand at 8542.01 points till 12:18pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 55 gained, 85 declined and 34 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 189.44 million.
