DHAKA: The four-day 17th Textech Bangladesh 2016 will kick off in city’s International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICC,B) on August 31.
Conference and Exhibition Management Services Limited (CEMS Global) will organize the exhibition that will continue till September 3.
The announcement came up through a press conference at National Press Club VIP Lounge prior to the program on Tuesday (August 23).
President and also managing director of CEMS Global Meherun N Islam said the exposition of the textile and readymade garment sector will be held for the first time in Bangladesh.
Some 1,050 company from 23 countries, including host Bangladesh, will participate in this exhibition. They are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United States of America (USA) and United Kingdom (UK).
There will be display of textile and garments machineries, yarn machines, clothing machineries, dyes and a collection of chemical substances.
Meherun N Islam also said this exhibition will give an opportunity to the entrepreneurs to be introduced with new technologies and conduct direct interaction among the consumers, entrepreneur’s importers and supplier.
“The exhibition will be under strict security with CCTV surveillance and participants have to register online prior to come,” she added.
Manager and coordination officer M. Sharif Hossain, administrator Lutfur Rahman, head of marketing Abu Noyeem Mohammed Sharif, among others were present at the conference.
