DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing minor loss in share price indices at the opening hours on Monday (August 29), the second trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 1.83 points or 0.04 percent to stand at 4532.71 points at 12:37pm.
Trade deals stood at 50,948 with transaction at over Tk 1818.79 million. Of the issues traded, 148 advanced, 113 declined and 78 remained unchanged.
National Tubes topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 111.84 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), also followed the trend as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse lost over 5.51 points to stand at 8567.82 points at 12:34pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 82 gained, 93 declined and 38 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 69.69 million.
