DHAKA: A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-1 detained five people, including a former official of Agrani Bank, with fake notes from the city early Wednesday (September 7).

RAB headquarters media wing assistant director ASP Mizanur Raman confirmed this to banglanews.

He further said: “They were captured with fake notes worth over Tk one crore from city’s Banasree and Jurain areas”.

Details will be revealed on this matter in a press conference at RAB-1 office around 11:00am, he added.
