Bangladesh seeks FTA with Turkey

DHAKA: Bangladesh has sought Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Turkey and alleviation of terms to increase the export volume in the country.

Commerce minister Tofail Ahmed made the demand to Turkey ambassador to Dhaka Devrim Öztürk in a meeting at secretariat in Dhaka on Tuesday (September 20).

A joint economic commission meeting will also be held between Bangladesh and Turkey, he told to media.
