Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) chairman and former lawmaker Barrister Andaleeve Rahman Partho was arrested on Thursday (July 25).
He was arrested from his Gulshan residence in the capital at 1am.
Detective Branch (DB) Chief Md Harun-Or-Rashid confirmed the matter.
He said Andaleeve Rahman was arrested on charge of inciting violence during the quota reform protests.
He was produced before a court at noon.
