Bangladeshi expatriates sent $2.19 billion (219.95 crore dollars) through official banking channels to Bangladesh in November. 

This amounts to approximately Tk 26,394 crore, assuming an exchange rate of 120 Taka per dollar.

This means that, on average, Bangladesh received $73.3 million in remittances daily in November.

Bangladesh Bank disclosed the information on Sunday (Dec 1).

The remittance inflow in November was higher compared to the same month last year, but it was lower than October's remittance. 

In November 2023, expatriates sent $1.93 billion. In October 2023, the remittance inflow stood at $2.39 billion (239.5 million dollars).
