The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast mostly dry weather with a partly cloudy sky across the country for the next 72 hours, beginning 9 am on Wednesday (Dec 25).
According to the BMD's update, the weather is expected to remain dry, with a temporary partly cloudy sky.
However, light to moderate fog may develop in some areas during the night and early morning hours, affecting visibility.
Night temperatures across the country are likely to remain nearly unchanged, while daytime temperatures may experience a slight decrease in the Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions.
The rest of the country is expected to see relatively stable daytime temperatures.
The highest temperature recorded over the past 24 hours was 30°C in Sitakunda, Chattogram, while the lowest temperature, 9.03°C, was recorded in Tetulia, Panchagarh on early Wednesday morning.
